Little Launch was birthed from Luke 5, where, in verse 4, Jesus says to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch."  In context, the fishermen were cleaning their nets after toiling all night and catching nothing.  Jesus asked them to do something that didn't make sense; nevertheless, they let down their nets. Verse 6 tells us they caught so many fish that their nets were breaking, so they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come help.

Out of this story comes the heart of Little Launch. To demonstrate how to listen and trust Jesus more and more, believe for things we could not accomplish or do on our own, be wildly obedient, be fishers of men, and be extravagant followers of Jesus.

Little Launch Christian Preschool is a ministry of Impact Rock Church, sharing the church's mission to help children and their families love and follow Jesus.  We believe that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139) and is a unique reflection of God's love.  Launching hearts and minds through the brilliance of Jesus Christ empowers each child to experience His love at the most formative time of their lives.

Our Nets are Breaking

In Luke 5:4, Jesus told Simon Peter to “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” Though they had worked all night and caught nothing, the disciples obeyed—and their nets were filled to the breaking point. They had to call others to help carry in the blessing.

In 2022, Little Launch Christian Preschool was founded on that same call to step out in faith. What began as obedience to God’s leading has grown into a thriving ministry serving families in Erie. Today, demand for Christ-centered early education continues to grow, and we are preparing to build a third classroom to welcome more children and families.

To make this possible, we are prayerfully seeking to raise $50,000 at our Summer Gala on June 13. Just as the fishermen called to their partners when the nets began to break, we are inviting our community to partner with us in this next step of faith.
